New Recruits!

In September, we welcomed two new trainees to our team, Jordan and Alex. They are training to become fully qualified wind turbine engineers, and have just completed their Working at Heights & Rescue course.

The boys visited our site at Hockerton to do their first climb, and they were complete naturals. Our senior engineer Colm believes that getting stuck in is the best way to learn, and wasted no time putting them to work.

Colm is taking them under his wing, and ensuring they get as much practical experience as possible. Being onsite and gaining first-hand experience is very important, and they have already completed their first scheduled service.

The next challenge for the boys is travelling to Wales with Colm & Scott, two of our most experienced engineers, to service a wind turbine and fix some performance issues. We are very happy to welcome the boys to our small team, and look forward to seeing them grow and progress.
